MONROE, LA- The Monroe Moccasins have announced that they have traded Brandon Stojcevski, Parker Layton, & Jordan Popoff to the Dashers of Danville, Illinois for Charlie Bedard & Richard Pinkowski.
Bedard, 25, has played in the FPHL and SPHL for the past 3 seasons playing most recently with the Danbury Hat Tricks.
“I’m looking forward to playing down south and becoming a true part of the community in Monroe,” said Bedard.
“We are excited to have Bedard come down and play with the Moccasins” said President and Managing Partner Parker Moskal. “We know everyone will love the defense first mentality he brings!”
Pinkowski, 29, commonly known amongst fans as “Pinky”, has most recently played with the Mississippi Sea Wolves playing only 33 games but garnering an impressive 174 PIM.
“I’m excited to be coming to Monroe and I will do whatever it takes to help the Moccasins win,” said Pinkowski.
“I had the privilege of playing with and against Pinky throughout my professional career. Pinky is the type of player that makes a difference for his team on the ice. He plays a hard nosed gritty game that I think the fans in Monroe won’t want to miss.” said President and Managing Partner Parker Moskal. “We are confident that he will do whatever it takes to protect his teammates!”
